AI-powered field service reporting for manufacturers
How manufacturers run field service in Salesforce with Ortoo Orchestrator and Documill
On Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 2pm UK (3pm CET), Documill and Ortoo run a 30-minute live demo that follows one field service case from intake to a signed report, entirely in Salesforce.
Field service reports need to be accurate, compliant and ready to invoice. In this webinar you’ll see a technician’s notes and photos become an AI-drafted visit summary, then a branded report with locked compliance sections, signed and returned to the Salesforce record.
20 minutes of demo, then Q&A. Every registrant gets the recording.
- When: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 2pm UK / 3pm CET
- Length: 30 minutes: 20 minutes of live demo, then Q&A
- Format: live online demo of one field service case, end to end in Salesforce
- Recording: sent to every registrant
- Speakers: Mark McGinn (Documill) and Aaron Poulton (Ortoo)
Who is this webinar for?
It’s for manufacturers that run service in Salesforce and want faster, cleaner field service reports.
- Service leaders
- Field service managers
- Salesforce owners
- Service operations teams
- Digital transformation leaders responsible for service reporting, compliance and operational efficiency
What will you see in the demo?
You’ll see one field service case run from intake to sign-off in Salesforce, in five steps.
Manufacturers need service issues resolved faster, with every report accurate, compliant and ready to invoice. Yet service professionals spend less than half their time (46%) with customers, according to Salesforce’s State of Service report, 7th edition. Much of the rest goes on admin and case notes.
- Before the visit: Ortoo Orchestrator triages the case, sets its priority and assigns the right technician by skill, capacity and SLA.
- During the visit: the technician captures notes, voice and photos in the Salesforce Field Service app.
- After the visit: AI drafts a structured visit summary and image descriptions. The technician reviews and approves it.
- The report: Documill assembles a branded report with locked compliance sections and sends it for e-signature in Salesforce. The signed report returns to the right record automatically.
- What happens next: Ortoo Orchestrator runs the follow-up actions, from case status updates to new opportunities and reassignment.
You’ll leave knowing where AI adds value in field service reporting, where rules should stay in control, and how to start with one workflow without replacing the systems you already run.
What will you take away?
You’ll leave with three things:
- Where admin hides in the field service lifecycle, and which steps to hand to the system first.
- How to apply AI to visit summaries and reports while compliance sections stay locked and a person approves every report.
- How to get signed reports back on the Salesforce record faster, shortening the path to invoice.
Who is Ortoo?
Ortoo makes Ortoo Orchestrator, a workflow orchestration system that runs natively in Salesforce. In the demo it handles the case before and after the visit: triage, priority and assignment first, then the follow-up actions once the signed report is back.
