The Maritim Hotelgesellschaft mbH is one of the largest hotel chains in Germany with its headquarters in Bad Salzuflen, North Rhine-Westphalia. The company operates 25 hotels in Germany and 13 hotels in 8 other countries. The company’s attractive portfolio includes city and airport hotels in prime locations with perfect transport links. In addition, Maritim runs resort hotels in breathtaking locations in coastal areas, by lakes or neat parks that offer visitors exciting experiences.

The challenge

Maritim was looking for an innovative document generation solution for its Salesforce that would enable the company to generate individually tailored contracts based on the data in the CRM. Maritim had used PowerDocs integrated with Salesforce for many years, during which it repeatedly turned out to be rather unsuitable and expensive. Not only did PowerDocs carry high license costs, but it increasingly lacked sufficient support. In addition, its lack of configuration options often caused headaches. Thus, a new, better and more cost-effective alternative had to be found – quickly.

The solution

APRACOR’s answer was Documill, a document generation solution that promised flexible automation options and tailoring of documents. Several Documill templates with different levels of complexity were initially set up. Now, when there is a chance of striking a deal, one of them can be smoothly called up in Salesforce with a click of a button and sent to the prospect by e-mail.

Depending on the configuration, the individual templates and their contents can be easily edited before a final PDF file is created. It is also possible to implement ready-made text modules to save valuable working time. This point, in particular, was a decisive factor for the company selecting the new document generation solution. This made the tool perfect for Maritim since the contracts usually had to be manually revised before they were sent to the potential partners.
